What is the process of boarding a private flight from a private terminal with NectAir?
Boarding a private flight with NectAir is designed to be a seamless and a stress-free experience. Here’s what to expect:
- Arrival: When you arrive at the private terminal, you’ll be greeted by our dedicated staff who will assist you with any luggage.
- Security Check: Unlike commercial flights, the security check for private flights is quick and discrete. You'll undergo a brief screening process that is both thorough and efficient, ensuring your safety and comfort without any unnecessary delays.
- Lounge Access: Once through security, you can relax in the lounge for a short time. (normally 5 to 10 minutes)
- Flight Preparation: While you relax in the lounge, our flight crew will be getting your aircraft ready for departure, ensuring all special requests and arrangements are handled.
- Boarding: When it’s time to board, a member of our staff will escort you directly to your aircraft.

Do I need to wear a headset while flying?
Wearing a headset in flight is not required.
All passengers will have access to a modern noise cancelling headset with bluetooth capability, so you can connect it to your devices.

Is there a chance my flight can be cancelled or delayed?
Flight delays or cancellations can occur for various reasons, such as adverse weather conditions, air traffic control restrictions, medical emergencies, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In the event of a disruption, we’ll keep you informed with regular updates, including the cause and estimated delay duration.

Are there any specific items I can not bring on board?
Our customer service team will provide you with a list of prohibited items. We follow all safety guidelines provided by Transport Canada on what is considered a Dangerous Good.

Is there heating and cooling on the plane?
Yes, the cabin is a very comfortable climate controlled environment.
While in flight and at cruising altitude, if you are too cool or too warm, please let the pilot know so that we can adjust the temperature more to your comfort level.

Yes, all of our pilots are fully certified and bring extensive experience across a range of aircraft. Additionally, we perform rigorous background checks and ongoing training. We take great pride in maintaining a strong culture of safety.

Do I get a refund if my flight is cancelled?
If your flight is delayed by more than three hours, NectAir will issue a refund for the portion of the journey that was not completed.
If part of the transportation has already been provided, the refund will reflect the difference between the amount paid and the applicable fare for the portion completed, minus any applicable cancellation fees as outlined in our tariff.
To request a refund for the unused portion of your fare, please contact us directly. You can do this via email to clientcare@flynectair.com.

What is the maximum baggage allowance?
Due to aircraft limitations, each passenger is allowed one standard carry on bag weighing less than 25 lbs. Our team will be happy to provide specific guidelines based on your flight details.

How do I get something back that I left on the plane?
At NectAir, we care about your experience flying with us and understand how frustrating it can be to leave personal items behind on an aircraft. If this happens, please contact us by phone at 1-888-900-3598 or email at clientcare@flynectair.com as soon as possible.
Be sure to provide your flight details and a description of the lost item. Once located, we’ll give you instructions on how to retrieve it.
If you forgot something at the airport, we will assist with getting in contact with the airport lost and found department.

Can I take sports equipment (eg. golf clubs) ?
At NectAir, we strive to accommodate your travel needs whenever possible. However, due to aircraft weight limitations, we may not always be able to carry all baggage.
